Garden Transformation & New Fencing

A fully overgrown garden stripped back and rebuilt in just five days: new fencing and gate, 40m² of flagged patio and path, a turfed lawn with a charcoal block border, and decorative gravel to finish.
Project Story
Ben and Katie's garden had been left to grow wild for years, and the old boundary fence was on its way out. We started by taking that fence down completely, then brought a micro digger in to dig out the entire garden, clearing somewhere in the region of 8 to 10 tonnes of overgrown ground and spoil to get back down to a workable base.
With the garden cleared, we set new posts along the boundary line, laid a membrane across the site and stoned it up ready for the next stage. From there we built out roughly 40m² of flagging, laying the patio and a path around what would become the turfed lawn, and finished the inside edge of the lawn with a charcoal block border for a clean, defined line between the paving and the grass.
We brought in 3 tonnes of topsoil and compacted it before giving the whole site a proper clean and laying the turf. Once that was down we cleaned up again and pointed the flags with a dark grey jointing compound to lock everything in and finish the paving properly. The final stage was completing the fence and hanging the gate, followed by one last clean before dressing the whole garden in decorative gravel (Black Ice) to tie it all together.
From strip-out to finished garden, the whole project ran start to finish in five days, 11 to 15 July 2026.

Client Review
"
Absolutely top service and workmanship from Caleb. Our garden was an absolute jungle and the patio was a right state. Caleb and Lee smashed through the excavation and prep work during a heatwave over the weekend, then relaid a new patio and installed a new lawn, new fencing and a gate, all completed by Wednesday, two days earlier than expected. They arrived at a reasonable time and pretty much didn't stop working every day. Honestly can't complain about a thing, a perfect example of a good, honest tradesman who paid attention to detail. Everything I had in mind to ask about, Caleb had already planned for without me needing to mention anything. The new garden looks stunning. Thank you Caleb and Lee.
